Valentine's Day Mini Sessions

Valentine's day is just around the corner! At our house Valentine's Day is a day filled with glorious amounts of pink and red, big bear hugs, sloppy kisses (from the kids of course, *ahem*) loads of sugar, and lots and lots of love.  What's not to love?

Ever since my girls were babies we've made custom valentines to pass out each year. What grandparent, neighbor, or teacher wouldn't be thrilled with one of these? (Excuse the picture taken from my phone last year...)

Every year we look forward to coming up with something new and exciting for our valentine.

Well, I've got some "Sweet" news!
This year, I'm going to let you all in on the fun! We are going be setting up a little valentine's day scene, complete with a red play kitchen, heart shaped plates and measuring cups, little valentine's day wreaths and decorations, some fun aprons, sugar cookie dough, cookie cutters, and frosted sugar cookies. Can you picture the cuteness? I'm honestly giddy just thinking about it!

To help you get an idea of what we're doing, I've borrowed these images with permission from Ariana Family Photography.

We are going to be opening up our studio for Valentine's Day Mini Sessions- now here's the thing: In order to do these sessions, we need to have a minimum of 5 people sign up. I know, I know... I'm such a party pooper. But what can I say? Business is business. It's going to take some work and planning to get the studio put together, so I'd like it to be worth my time. :) So, please tell your friends and family! Spread the word! I think it is going to be SO much fun! Think of how cute it would be to create a collage of pictures of all the grandkids making cookies to give to their grandma or grandpa on Valentine's Day! Ah! The cuteness!

Here's the scoop

Older children may feel a little bit too "grown-up" for a play kitchen, so we will offer a few fun valentine's day backdrops where we can take these fun "Sucker" pictures. (Excuse the picture taken with  my phone last year.)

Adorable right? These have always been a hit for my girls to hand out on Valentine's Day. And the fun doesn't stop at suckers! I have a lot ideas on how to use other candy, along with some cute quotes to make a fun valentine that any child would be excited to hand out. (For example: Mini Snickers Bars with a quote that says "You Make Me Snicker Funny Valentine!") We can put our heads together and come up with something to fit your child's personality.

Gives us a call to reserve your time slot and let's start celebrating the love!
