Like Mother Like Daughter...

We love taking pictures of adorable little children! Which is great, because David happens to have two adorable little nieces that needed their one-year old and three-year old pictures done.

Kids definitely keep photo shoots interesting, and this one was no exception. The girls didn't really want to pose or do what Mom said, but with a few bribes of swedish fish and a little bit of patience we were able to capture their cute personalities as they showed who they were in front of the camera.

Back To School

My little girl had her first day of preschool today. Where does the time go? I can't believe how quickly she has grown up. To say that she was excited would be a huge understatement. She sang all the way there! Here are a "few" snapshots of her first day. YES I am one of those crazy parents that follow their child around with a camera and NO I am not ashamed to admit it!

Spring has finally SPRUNG!

 The weather was so beautiful this week! I took advantage of the sunshine and took my girls for a walk around the temple, and of course I had to bring my camera along!  

 This is Addie explaining to a passerby that the flowers smell like blueberries... she made many many elderly friends while we were wandering around the temple grounds. Little Miss Chatterbox.

Addie was so cute at the temple. She kept talking about how she was going to grow up and marry a prince in the temple so she could live happily ever after. 

 I just love tulips. They are so cheerful! Don't they just make you happy? I could look at these pictures all day. It just feels SO good to be out in the sunshine. In shorts! And flip flops! Sigh... I can taste summer around the corner. 

 I can't help but smile when I see this gummy grin! It makes me so happy! 

 Am I a bad mom for absolutely loving this picture? I'm sure the girls will love it too someday. :)

 Here's a few more of Liv. I was actually quite shocked when I looked through the pictures and realized there were a few of her that were cute because she was constantly moving all night long. She's a busy little bee this one, but she's an adorable little bee.

Sometimes the best photo shoots are the unplanned ones...

 This is my daughter Addison. She's three...and she's good at it. :) Usually taking pictures of her results in tears and tantrums... and Addie doesn't do so well either. However yesterday Addison was in a pleasant mood and actually ASKED me to take her picture! Gee, you don't have to ask me twice! So while my younger two girls took naps, Addie and I set up a little studio and had some fun.  I am absolutely in love with how they turned out.

 My philosophy with children is the closer you get, the more beautiful they get. It's when we get older that a little distance goes a long way. :)
