Zachary- 6 Months Old

Where oh WHERE does the time go?! This little man is 6 months old now. He's sporting 4 teeth (2 of which he has had for over a month), loves to giggle, hates to sleep, and just started crawling!

Ebby's Blessing

This is my third time having the privilege to work with little Miss Ebby, and it is SO fun to watch her grow! Only 2 months has gone by since the first time we meet, and I can't believe how much she has changed in such a short amount of time. One of the main reasons I became a photographer in the first place is because I felt like my children were growing up before my eyes.. and I wanted to be able to freeze time for just a moment. I wanted to be able to capture their personalities, and their awesome little quirks that make them who they are. 

When you are in the trenches of motherhood the days are long, but the years are fleeting. Someday we will turn around and our kids will be all grown up, having children of their own... And that's why pictures are so extremely important. The photos we take today will outlive you, and they will even outlive the people in them. They are an investment that we love and appreciate now, but will continue to gain value through the years. 

On that note, let's check out this darling girl! This was a super quick 15 minute shoot, and Ebby was an absolute angel!

I just love all the soft warm light in these images. I also loved using the bedroom as our location, it just captures the feel of life with a newborn. 

Little Dylan may look like a newborn, but he was actually 9 weeks old during our session. He entered the world at a teeny tiny 4 lbs 6 oz, and 18 inches long. So by the time he was 9 weeks old, he was about the size of my babies when they're born. He is such a snuggly little guy. I loved watching his big brother interact with him. He's ready to teach him all there is to know about bugs, trucks, and super heroes. This mama is going to have her hands full!

Miss E's Hospital Pictures

Welcome to the world darling little girl!

I went up to the hospital this week to meet little Miss E. and I was absolutely smitten with her. She has such a sweet little disposition, and check out that hair! Swoon! 

You'll be seeing much more of Miss E. and her teeny tiny adorableness later this week! For now just sit back and INJOY!

Dakota's Newborn Session

I have said it before- and I'll say it again. I am so grateful to get to work with these beautiful babies! Dakota has such a sweet disposition. He is especially dear to my heart because he is my newest little nephew! His mom and I were due just 2 days apart and yet our boys made their big debut almost 3 weeks apart!

Dakota's mommy and grandma made some of the beautiful blankets we used in his shoot. I love when clients bring sentimental items to incorporate!
